Our R&D team has innovated by developing a washing tunnel line tubes. In order to be able to move into hydro painting in its production line, our customer, a major player in the manufacture of technical tubes, trusted us to install it a washing tunnel, in line, allowing to realize the cadence with an efficiency of hanging paint without defect.
Our customer's need was to have a 24-hour continuous wash – 5 days / week of steel tubes Ø 7 »(177.8 mm) for the external degreasing of tubes before application of hydro paint.
Following the various tests carried out by our company in advance of the project, a washing pressure of 180 Bars was defined, at a temperature of 70°C, added with alkaline detergent (40g/l), with a water flow rate of 6000 l/h, necessary to supply 1 HP wash ramp at 15 nozzles of 400 l/h each (i.e. 6000 l/h in recycled water).
From these elements, we provided him with a set of equipment ensuring these washing characteristics, with the provision of treatment and recycling of washing water, filtered at 10 μ, free of any oil/fat residue and odour.
Thanks to the washing tunnel that we have put in place, online, on our customer's production line, combined with the high-pressure technical group, the gas boiler, the washing water recycling system and the tube blowing system, our customer can now pass its tubes in hydro paint, with perfect manufacturing quality.
