Info Project

Our customer had to set up cabins allowing him to perform leakproof tests on his products in series or in development, allowing him to ensure compliance with the standards in force and the standard test procedures.
Montanier provided a positive response, and designed two cabins allowing Schneider Electric to perform its tests in accordance with the standard and in a repeatable manner:
- 1 cabin for IP54, IP55 and NEMA4 tests
- 1 cabin for IP69k tests
During this design, Montanier studied the current standards, and technically transcribed their strict application in cabins.
The IP54, IP55 and NEMA4 cab consists of:
– Raw water treatment
– A stainless steel cabin with high flow water projection
– A rotary tray with EST fixing trolley
– A buffer tank
– A high flow pump
– Power cabinet
– An IHM box with touch screen
– a sprinkler spear outside the cabin
The cabin for the IP69K test consists of:
– Raw water treatment
– A stainless steel pressurized hot water projection cabin
– A rotary tray with EST fixing trolley
– A hot water buffer tank 80° C
– A hot water buffer tank 60°C for detergent
– A high pressure pump with pressure, flow and temperature control sensor
– Power cabinet
– An IHM box with touch screen
– A detergent and disinfectant assay
The cycle runs in automatic mode according to: « Next test DIN 40 050 – Part 9 »
Full cycle, including « Switching » Successive water to the 4 nozzles at 0°, 30°, 60° and 90°.
Fixed temperature, pressure and duration of spray (changeable only by password).
Rotating table operated in a direction at fixed speed (changeable only by password).
Extraction of vapours outside the enclosure.
Recycled water operation (recycling bag No. 1).
Security: Locked glass door.
