Our R&D team has developed water-bomber aircraft rinsing equipment. Our client needed to be able to rinse his bomber planes back from the forest fire field. These planes, because of the sea salt after the various landings, tended to stox if nothing was done. The operation, initially done by hand, was not effective and very time-consuming.
We have therefore introduced two rinsing systems:
– a 30m long horizontal spray ramp. This ramp is equipped with 24 nozzles and operates at 6bars 120m3/h to rinse the underside of aircraft
– two posts equipped with vertical and horizontal oscillation spray lances operating at 6bars 60m3/h to rinse the top of aircraft
To limit water consumption, effluent from rinsing has been re-used for rinsing the following aircraft.
