Washing rack
Our customer needed a washing machine to wash buses according to the following conditions:
– Washing rate: 15 buses per hour
– The washing machine shall clean the bus without deterioration of the mirrors
– Water consumption: less than 200 l/min
– Robustness in time
In response to its request, Montanier proposed the following solution:
The installation of a mobile washing rack that allows a bus wash while avoiding mirrors in order to prevent any degradation with a washing cycle time of 3m to 3min30 depending on the length of the bus. The portal is equipped with 2 vertical brushes and 1 horizontal brush for washing the roof of vehicles.
The wash rack is equipped with: 1 wash/pre-wetting ramp and a rinse ramp with a water consumption reduced by 75 L/min per ramp. So the total consumption of ramps is 150 l/min. In addition, washing ramps have the possibility to have several types of water supply (city water, rain water, recycled water or drilling water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.
In addition, the structure is fully hot galvanized allowing its installation inside and outside, and many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to ensure its durability and reliability.
