Washing tunnel
Our client needed a washing machine to wash buses at the parade under the following conditions:
– High wash rate: 50 buses per hour
– Water consumption: less than 300 l/min
– Robustness in time
In response to its request, Montanier proposed the following solution:
The installation of a fixed washing tunnel which allows washing at the bus parade (the tunnel is fixed, the bus moves inside) with a washing cycle time of 1 to 1min30 depending on the length of the bus. The tunnel is equipped with 4 vertical brushes and 1 horizontal brush for washing the roof of vehicles.
The washing tunnel is equipped with 3 wash/pre-wetting ramps and a rinse ramp, with a water consumption reduced by 50 L/min per ark. So the total consumption of ramps is 200 l/min. In addition, washing ramps have the possibility to have several types of water supply (city water, rain water, recycled water or drilling water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.
The structure is fully hot galvanized allowing its installation inside and outside and many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to ensure its durability and reliability.
