Our client needed a washing machine to wash buses according to the following conditions:

– Washing rate: 15 buses to be washed per hour
– The washing machine must clean the bus without damaging the mirrors
– Water consumption: less than 200 l/min
– Robustness over time

To respond to its request, the Montanier company proposed the following solution:

The installation of a mobile washing gantry which allows washing of the buses while avoiding the mirrors in order to prevent any degradation with a washing cycle time of 3m to 3min30 depending on the length of the bus. The gantry is equipped with 2 vertical brushes and 1 horizontal brush for washing the roof of vehicles.

The washing gantry is equipped with: 1 washing/pre-wetting ramp and a rinsing ramp with reduced water consumption of 75 L/min per ramp. Therefore, the total consumption of the booms is 150l/min. In addition, the washing ramps have the possibility of having several types of supply (city water, rainwater, recycled water or borehole water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.

In addition, the structure is completely hot-dip galvanized allowing it to be installed indoors and outdoors, and many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to guarantee longevity and reliability.
