Distillery process network

Our client, a renowned distillery, wanted to move their production unit and contacted us to offer them a process and utility network for their new installation. Our service therefore includes the design of equipment and piping, with the production of 3D plans, showing the piping installed in the building.

The entire installation is designed in 316L stainless steel and can be controlled from touch screens:

For the “Grand cellar” area:

The "Master" Man-Machine interface ensures the control of alarms, the traceability of transfers, the management of the withdrawal volumes of sugar, alcohol, softened cold water, mixing tanks and the Grand Chai controlled valve.

  • It also controls the agitators according to the mixing tank levels,
  • Permanent control of the flow rates used in alcohol, sugar and EFA for each point,
  • The history of alarms and fault acknowledgments,
  • The history of the direct debit journal,
  • Maintenance access pages

The "Slave" interface of the distillery zone allows the control of the valves in the still zone and the valves in the maceration zone, for the distribution of alcohol and cold softened water. It also allows the control of alarms and operation in progress with display and count of the flow rates used.

The manufacturing process distribution circuit includes the liquid sugar distribution circuit, the alcohol process and the cold softened water process.

Concerning the production of energy, our service includes the production of softened water, the treatment of softened water and the production of hot water at 60°C.

In the melter and pasteurizer area, we intervene on the connection of utilities, electricity and automation.
