Wash tunnel

Our client needed a washing machine to wash buses in procession according to the following conditions:
– High washing rate: 50 buses to be washed per hour
– Water consumption: less than 300 l/min
– Robustness over time

To respond to its request, the Montanier company proposed the following solution:

The installation of a fixed washing tunnel which allows washing as the buses pass by (the tunnel is fixed, the bus advances inside) with a washing cycle time of 1 to 1 min 30 depending on the length of the bus. The tunnel is equipped with 4 vertical brushes and 1 horizontal brush for washing the roof of vehicles.

The washing tunnel is equipped with 3 washing/pre-wetting ramps and a rinsing ramp, with a reduced water consumption of 50 L/min per arch. Therefore, the total consumption of the booms is 200l/min. In addition, the washing ramps have the possibility of having several types of supply (city water, rainwater, recycled water or borehole water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.

The structure is fully hot-dip galvanized allowing it to be installed both indoors and outdoors and many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to guarantee longevity and reliability.
