Our R&D team has developed water bomber aircraft flushing equipment.
Our client needed to be able to flush their water bomber planes back from forest fire campaigns. These planes, because of the sea salt after the various landings, tended to oxidize if nothing was done. The operation, initially performed with a hand lance, was not effective and very time-consuming. We have therefore set up two rinsing systems:
– a horizontal spray boom with a length of 30m.
This boom is fitted with 24 nozzles and operates at 6bar 120m³/h to rinse the underside of aircraft – two poles equipped with vertically and horizontally oscillating spray lances operating at 6bar 60m³/h to rinse the top of aircraft To limit water
consumption water, a recovery of the effluents resulting from the rinsing has been planned to be reused for the rinsing of the following aircraft.
