Mobile wash bays

MONTANIER designs custom, highly efficient washing, disinfection, and drying equipment for the cosmetics industry. Our clients have relied on our expertise to develop, manufacture, and implement washing solutions for mobile tanks in dry environments.

Our product allows the tank to be washed, through its manhole, and the effluent to be evacuated through the drain valve, without putting a drop of water on the floor in the laundry room.

The tank is connected in a sealed manner to a top wash head, and a flexible hose allows the bottom valve of the tank to be washed and the effluent to be discharged into the wastewater network, in a completely sealed manner.

The washing bay consists of:

• A wash bay/enclosure delimited by sandwich panels, with a stainless steel interior finish
• The enclosure/box is closed by a fast-rolling curtain, with a closure detection system for locking during the wash cycle
• In the technical area, a skid constructed with a 304L stainless steel tube frame, resting on four anti-vibration feet, forms a stainless steel containment basin with a plugged valve, designed to accommodate one or more wash pumps. The technical skid is open, allowing access to the equipment for maintenance. As an option, we can offer to enclose the skid with stainless steel panels and soundproof doors lined with 30mm thick acoustic foam.
• The skid is equipped with:
  • All piping systems are designed without dead legs or retention zones. The 316L stainless steel piping is fully drainable.
  • All the valves, low and high pressure, necessary for operation
  • Detergent deliveries, dosed online
  • The high-pressure pump to supply the tank washing system
  • The filtered compressed air system, in order to use clean compressed air
  • The range of filtered steam in order to use clean steam for thermal disinfection.
• The car wash bay is equipped with:
  • A washing head suspended from the ceiling, by a load balancer or a hoist installed in a stainless steel box.
  • An ergonomic walkway for accessing the tank dome (often the tanks are over 2m high).
  • A drain and wash pipe for the bottom tank valve, with connection to the customer's effluent network.
• We have adapted one of our innovations to these washing boxes, in order to provide efficient washing of the bottom valve of the tank, which allows our customers not to need to dismantle it to wash it.
