Our R&D team has developed water bomber aircraft flushing equipment.
Our client needed to be able to flush their water bomber planes back from forest fire campaigns. These planes, because of the sea salt after the various landings, tended to oxidize if nothing was done. The operation, initially performed with a hand lance, was not effective and very time-consuming. We have therefore set up two rinsing systems:
– a horizontal spray boom 30m long.
This boom is equipped with 24 nozzles and operates at 6bar 120m³/h to rinse the underside of aircraft – two poles equipped with spray lances with vertical and horizontal oscillations operating at 6bars 60m³/h to rinse the top of aircraft
To limit water consumption, recovery of effluent from rinsing has been planned to be reused for rinsing subsequent aircraft.
