We have installed a bus chassis washer to wash the underside and underbody in addition to a bus washing tunnel. Our client needed a washing machine, in addition to his washing tunnel, to wash the underside and the bottoms of the bus bodies in the parade in order to facilitate mechanical maintenance and avoid possible complaints from the client who gets dirty during getting on the bus.

To meet his request, Montanier offered the following solution:

The installation of a 300l/min fixed chassis washer under 20 bars of pressure upstream of its washing tunnel, which allows washing as the buses pass by (the chassis washer is fixed, the bus moves forward inside) with a washing cycle time of 20 to 30 seconds depending on the length of the bus. The chassis washer is equipped with two side ramps for washing the underbody and a horizontal ramp for washing the bus subframe.

In addition, the chassis washer has the possibility of having several types of supply (city water, rainwater, recycled water or borehole water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.

The structure of the chassis washer is made of stainless steel. This material allows it to be installed both indoors and outdoors. Many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to guarantee longevity and reliability.
