Our client needed a washing machine to wash nozzles under the following conditions:

– Washing rate: 15 nozzles to be washed per hour
– The washing machine must clean the bus without degrading the mirrors
– Water consumption: less than 200 l/min
– Robustness over time

To meet his request, Montanier offered the following solution:

The installation of a mobile washing gantry which allows buses to be washed while avoiding rear-view mirrors in order to prevent any damage with a washing cycle time of 3m to 3min30 depending on the length of the bus. The gantry is equipped with 2 vertical brushes and 1 horizontal brush for washing the roof of vehicles.

The washing gantry is equipped with: 1 washing/pre-wetting ramp and a rinsing ramp with a reduced water consumption of 75 L/min per ramp. Therefore, the total consumption of the booms is 150l/min. In addition, the washing ramps have the possibility of having several types of supply (city water, rainwater, recycled water or borehole water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.

In addition, the structure is completely hot-dip galvanized allowing it to be installed indoors and outdoors, and many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to guarantee longevity and reliability.
