Window washer

We installed a bus undercarriage washer to clean the underside and rocker panels, in addition to a bus wash tunnel. Our client needed a washing machine, to complement their existing wash tunnel, to clean the underside and rocker panels of buses in transit, thus facilitating mechanical maintenance and preventing potential complaints from passengers who get dirty while boarding the bus.

To meet his request, the Montanier company proposed the following solution:

The installation of a fixed 300 l/min chassis washer at 20 bar pressure upstream of the wash tunnel allows for continuous bus washing (the chassis washer is stationary, the bus moves through it) with a wash cycle time of 20 to 30 seconds depending on the bus's length. The chassis washer is equipped with two lateral ramps for washing the undercarriage and one horizontal ramp for washing the bus's subframe.

In addition, the chassis washer has the option of using several types of water supply (city water, rainwater, recycled water or well water) in order to drastically reduce water consumption costs.

The chassis washer's structure is made of stainless steel. This material allows for both indoor and outdoor installation. Many mechanical components are also made of stainless steel to guarantee its longevity and reliability.
