Our client needed a bus washing machine for parades, meeting the following requirements:
– High washing speed: 50 buses per hour
– Water consumption: less than 300 l/min
– Durability

To meet his request, the Montanier company proposed the following solution:

The installation of a fixed washing tunnel allows for continuous bus washing (the tunnel is stationary, the bus moves through it) with a wash cycle time of 1 to 1.5 minutes depending on the bus length. The tunnel is equipped with 4 vertical brushes and 1 horizontal brush for washing the roofs of the vehicles.

The wash tunnel is equipped with three wash/pre-wetting ramps and one rinse ramp, each with a reduced water consumption of 50 L/min per ramp. Therefore, the total consumption of the ramps is 200 L/min. Furthermore, the wash ramps can be supplied with various water sources (municipal water, rainwater, recycled water, or well water) to drastically reduce water consumption costs.

The structure is fully hot-dip galvanized, allowing it to be installed both indoors and outdoors, and many mechanical components are made of stainless steel to guarantee its longevity and reliability.
