Water treatment and recycling

At Montanier , our water treatment system allows us to recycle up to 80-85% of wash water , contributing to sustainable and economical resource management. To achieve this performance, our R&D team designed a three-stage :

1. Pretreatment (underground installation)
We begin with a settling tank operating on the principle of sedimentation. This method efficiently separates solid particles from the water thanks to the difference in density. An oil separator completes the system to remove floating pollutants and protect the rest of the treatment process.

2. Secondary Treatment (Underground Installation)
Secondary treatment relies on a 20 m³ lift tank with an aerobic biological reactor . This reactor contains microorganisms that consume dissolved pollutants through oxygen injection. A recirculation pump recovers the biological sludge and returns it to the settling tank, thus ensuring continuous optimization of the treatment process .

3. Tertiary Treatment (Above-Ground Installation)
Tertiary treatment includes a filtration skid that improves the quality of the recycled water before it is stored. The filtered water is then directed to a buffer tank , ensuring a stable supply of high-quality treated water .

Our processing system is sized according to the number of buses and coaches washed daily , guaranteeing efficient recycling adapted to your needs.
