Distillery process network
Our client, a renowned distillery, wanted to relocate its production unit and contacted us to propose a process and utilities network for its new facility. Our service therefore includes the design of equipment and piping, with the creation of 3D plans showing the piping installed in the building.
The entire installation is made of 316L stainless steel and can be controlled via touchscreens:
For the "Grand Chai" area:
The "Master" Human-Machine Interface ensures alarm control, transfer traceability, control of sugar, alcohol, softened cold water withdrawal volumes, mixing tanks and the Grand Chai piloted valve.
- It also controls the agitators according to the mixing tank levels
- Continuous monitoring of the flow rates used for alcohol, sugar and EFA at each point
- The history of alarms and fault acknowledgments,
- The history of the sampling log,
- The maintenance access pages
The "Slave" interface in the distillery area allows control of the valves in the still area and the valves in the maceration area, for the distribution of alcohol and cold softened water. It also allows monitoring of alarms and ongoing operation, with display and tracking of flow rates used.
The manufacturing process distribution circuit includes the liquid sugar distribution circuit, the alcohol process circuit, and the cold softened water process circuit.
Regarding energy production, our service includes the production of softened water, the treatment of softened water and the production of hot water at 60°C.
In melting and pasteurizing areas, we work on connecting utilities, electricity and automation.
